Terms of service

Berryphone provides prepaid internet calling through berryphone.net and its companion mobile app. Available destinations and features depend on technical and regional restrictions. SMS and mobile incoming calls are unavailable at launch. An app being available for download does not mean calling is available in every location.

You must be at least 18, provide accurate account details, have authority to act for any organization you administer, and protect your sign-in credentials. Notify us if your account is compromised. Your network connection, device and operating-system permissions affect call quality and availability.

Berryphone cannot connect emergency calls, including 911, 112, 999 and other emergency or short service codes. It does not provide your location to emergency services. Use your regular telephone service or another local emergency calling method. Berryphone is not a replacement for a primary telephone service.

Prices are displayed in US dollars. Check the quote for your destination before calling. Answered outbound calls are billed in whole-minute increments with a 60-second minimum. A call that ends before being answered has no voice usage charge. Recording, when enabled, has a separate disclosed charge. Calls may end when available credit or an organization quota is exhausted.

Website purchases add prepaid calling credit. Promotional credit has no cash value and cannot be refunded. Paid credit is for using Berryphone and cannot be transferred outside the service. Automatic top-ups only run if enabled with a saved payment method; you can disable them in billing settings.

Rented numbers have an initial charge and recurring monthly charges shown before purchase. Billing continues until the number is released, including during a temporary suspension. A released number may be reassigned and cannot be guaranteed recoverable. Verify ownership of any external number before using it as caller ID.

Rates and availability can change. The quote used when a call starts determines that call's usage rate. Applicable taxes and fees, if any, will be shown in the purchase flow. Refunds are governed by the refund policy and mandatory consumer law.

Do not use Berryphone for fraud, threats, harassment, unlawful solicitation, spam, impersonation, unauthorized caller-ID use, or attempts to bypass access controls, regional restrictions or billing. Respect do-not-call requests and any consent, licensing or telecom rules that apply to you and your recipients.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload contacts and other content. Before recording, obtain all consent required by the laws that apply to the call participants. Do not rely solely on an automated recording notice to meet those obligations.

We may restrict or suspend access to prevent abuse, protect the service or comply with law. Restrictions do not remove any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

An organization owns the credit, numbers and data stored in its workspace. Administrators control member access and billing. Removing a member or deleting that member's personal account does not delete a workspace with other members. Administration and active assignments may be transferred to a remaining member. If no members remain, its resources are removed during account deletion.

You can permanently delete your account in the app or at berryphone.net/delete-account. Access closes immediately. Personal data and resources are removed through automatic cleanup; provider failures are retried. There is no restoration window. Remaining personal credit is removed and rented numbers are released. Request eligible refunds before deletion. Shared organizations with other members continue operating.

Provider retention requirements and the retention of shared organization records are described in the privacy policy. Deleting an account does not erase records held independently by payment providers, telecom operators or call recipients.

Internet and telecom services can fail or be interrupted. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, call completion, particular audio quality, number availability or access from every country. Maintain an alternative way to make essential and emergency calls.

To the extent permitted by law, Berryphone is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from service interruptions, your network or device, third-party actions or misuse of the service. These terms do not exclude liability or remedies that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights take priority over conflicting terms. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
